An arrest warrant has been issued for businesswoman Phyllis Ngirita for skipping her Ksh. 20 million tax evasion hearing.
The arrest warrant was issued on Monday by Senior Principal Magistrate Bernard Ochoi at the Milimani Courts, Nairobi.
Ngirita was one of the suspects scandalized and charged in the National Youth Service (NYS) second impropriety. She is accused of tax evasion of Ksh.20 million between December 2016 and December 2017.
This is the second arrest warrant issued. Ngirita will be facing four charges of failure to produce a tax return and tax evasion.
