President Uhuru Kenyatta ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga and Junet Mohammed

Polycarp Igathe, a Jubilee Party aspirant, disclosed in an interview on Citizen TV on Thursday, April 21, that the alliance’s senior leaders had convened at State House in Nairobi, resolved to make an arrangement with newcomers.

President Uhuru Kenyatta, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, Wiper pioneer Kalonzo Musyoka, and Narc Kenya pioneer Martha Karua were among the Azimio leaders present at the gathering.

Polycarp Igathe, former Vivo Executive Vice President Sales and Marketing, surrendered on March 13, 2020FILE Igathe said that the coalition chose him as the bearer flag after speaking with Richard Ngatia, Anne Kagure, Representative Chief Executive Anne Kananu, and Tim Wanyonyi, MP for Westlands.

He further stated that the authority correspondence would be completed today (Friday, April 22), while the administrators continue to deliberate.

On April 21, it was reported that Igathe will be delegated by former Kibwezi MP Philip Kaloki, contradicting prior predictions that the seat would be allocated to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) opponent Tim Wanyonyi. “I progressively contacted each of the main governor’s candidates, Ngatia, Kagure, and Wanyonyi.” “Our party leaders have confirmed what we have said. It’s all about teamwork, not individual achievement. “This dialogue will reopen fully tomorrow (April 22),” he stated.

In response to allegations that the gathering had been heated as some of the potential contenders opposed his nomination, the business leader stated that there was no uncertainty between them, adding that every one of the contestants had a welcome connection.

“There is no rush, and I don’t believe there should be. The survivors who are unable to fly the banner will be critical to the organisation and the party moving forwards. “There is a lot of camaraderie among those running for elective positions.” “Decisions aren’t a combat sport where you keep witnessing people get their heads hacked off or devoured by lions,” he explained.
