The family of Ronald Bundi left Mombasa on the morning of Christmas Day, headed to Nyakegogi village in Kisii to celebrate the festive season as they have always done before the accident happened.
A speeding Subaru driver veered off course into his lane while overlapping at Egwata area near Voi leading to a head-on collision that led to the death of Mr.Bundi, his wife and three daughters.
His two sons, Mike and Venard survived the tragedy with several injuries. They were rushed to Coast General Teaching and Referral hospital.
The family will be laid to rest on Friday in Nyakegogi in Sameta Sub-county, Kisii. Family members have been meeting at their home in Kisimani Enclave and at St Francis of Assisi Customs Parish church in Nyali for burial arrangements.
Mr.Bundi was described as an honest and hardworking man by family, friends and workmates.
