The Parliamentary Service Commission is offering a prize of Ksh.100,000 to the person who comes up with the best name for a new office building.

In a notice published in local newspapers on Monday, the Commission urged interested Kenyans to enter the naming competition by submitting their name suggestions.

“The commission would like to invite interested citizens to participate in a naming competition to find an appropriate name for the new multi-storey office block. The name must be catchy, reflect the values of the institution of parliament and its stature,” read the notice

Interested Kenyans should obtain the submission forms from the parliament’s website and send the fully filled copy to the tender box at Parliament by next Monday, June 20, they may also send it to Parliament’s procurement office through email.

The block, which was built by the Parliamentary Service Commission is located near to Parliament buildings between Continental House and County Hall.
