Raila beats Ruto by 4% according to recent infotrak polls

According to recent Infotrak polls, Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga would win the elections if they were conducted today beating Kenya Kwanza counterpart William Ruto by 4 percent.

Raila has a 42 percent popularity rating, whereas Ruto has a 38 percent rating, according to statistics provided on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.

According to the polling firm, the ODM leader would receive 9.3 million votes, while Ruto will receive 8.4 million votes. The ‘fifty-plus-one’ constitutional criteria would be met by none of the contenders.

The organization performed 9,000 interviews in 47 counties, covering all 290 constituencies. The survey has a plus or minus one margin of error.

According to prior surveys, Ruto’s popularity dropped after picking Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate, but Raila’s 42 percent remained unchanged.
