President Uhuru Kenyatta

President Uhuru Kenyatta today met and held talks with religious leaders at State House, Nairobi who paid him a courtesy call.

The Head of State was commended by the religious leaders for paving the way for openness and promoting an unified Kenya.

According to a media release from PSCU, the President thanked the religious leaders for their assistance and gave them his assurance that the power transfer will go smoothly.

This comes after a fiercely contested presidential election, where the current Deputy President William Ruto, who has had a rocky relationship with his boss, has been named the president-elect by the IEBC.
