Cristiano Ronaldo, the football superstar, has revealed that one of his newborn twins died at birth.
Last year, Ronaldo and his wife Georgina Rodriguez revealed that they were expecting twins.
The heartbreaking news was shared by the footballer on Instagram.
“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away,” says the family.
“It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel.”
“Only our baby girl’s birth gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness,” said the mother.
“We are all crushed by this loss, and we respectfully want privacy during this terrible time.”
“Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you.”
