Prof. John Momanyi Mironga

Professor Momany Mironga died recently, and his comrades and the Egerton fraternity are in sorrow.
Professor John Mironga was an associate professor at the Faculty of Environment and Resources Development’s Department of Geography.
He was an ambitious individual, according to many, whose efforts reaped fruit in the Egerton fraternity and also achieved success.
From 2013 to 2015, he served as Dean of the Faculty of Environmental and Resource Development.
The faculty grew tremendously under his direction, and he formed a number of collaborations with local and foreign organizations.
Despite his status as a professor, he is actively involved in the development of portfolio programs.
Despite this, he served as chairman of the board of directors of Nakuru’s Heshima Secondary School.
Professor John, who died on April 3rd, was a tremendous soul for the Egerton University brotherhood. May his soul rest in peace
