Nyeri Water and Sanitation Company (NYEWASCO) is undertaking a customer satisfaction survey to gauge its performance in service delivery.

The survey is being done in partnership with Dedan Kimathi University of Technology and will sample a cross section of water users to establish how they rate the company.

The outcome of the survey which kicked off last week will enable the company put in place strategic measures which in turn are expected to translate into improved service delivery.

In a notice to its clients, the water firm reaffirms its commitment towards delivering the best and continually improve its services in tandem with emerging technologies and needs of the customers.

And to allay fears of the likelihood of both its workers and clients getting infected by Covid-19 disease during the exercise, the company avers that measures have been taken to protect both the data collectors and the respondents against possible exposure.

“If you are picked to respond to the questionnaire, kindly provide us with correct information which will assist us to enhance the services that we offer you,” read the notice.

The survey comes at a time when the water firm has scaled down its operations as the county races to curb the spread of Covid-19 disease.

Last month, the company suspended physical meter reading indefinitely in a move to protect its staff and clients from contacting the highly infectious disease.
