The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has denied Presidential aspirant Jimi Wanjigi permission for failing to produce a degree certificate.
Wanjigi sent transcripts to the electoral authority instead of a degree certificate to establish that he had completed tertiary study.
Willis Otieno, his running mate, said that IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati cleared former comedian Walter Mong’are Nyambane based on transcripts rather than a degree certificate.
