Former Roots party presidential running mate, Justina Wamae.

Justina Wamae, former deputy presidential candidate for the Roots party, again pleaded with newly elected President William Ruto for a government position while planning for the next government.

“Justina Wamae is humbled, thank you Mr. President William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua.The Bible says, speak the truth, my truth is begging for a job. Am ready to serve,” she stated 

 Justina Wamae congratulated Ruto and his deputy, Rigathi Gachagua a short time after the Supreme Court unanimously validated William Ruto’s election as president-elect a fter Raila Odinga’s petition was dismissed.

“Once again congratulations President-Elect and Deputy President-Elect. I have been vindicated. Even if they decided to kick me out of Roots party, we have already burned trees,” she stated.

Wamae had expressed an interest in working as a Cabinet Secretary in Ruto’s cabinet a few days after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) named Ruto the President-elect.
