President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga’s ethnic math could result in casualties, including ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna.

Dreams will be broken and aspirants will be asked to step down.

It has been revealed that the two leaders, along with Wiper head Kalonzo Musyoka, may have reached an agreement to hand Nairobi governor Azimio’s ticket to a Mt Kenya contender. A Wiper politician would act as his or her deputy.

On Thursday, there will be a primary election.

The Azimio flag will be flown by former Nairobi Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe of President Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party, with former Kibwezi MP Phillip Kaloki of Kalonzo’s Wiper as his deputy.

This effectively eliminates Tim Wanyonyi, MP for Westlands, and Richard Ngatia, head of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, from the Azimio race for Nairobi Governor.

On Wednesday evening, there were rumblings that Uhuru and Raila had redesigned the Nairobi electoral map and were considering asking Wanyonyi to run for Senate.

The only Azimio candidates in the Senate race are Sifuna and nominated MP Maina Kamanda.
