Azimio La Umoja One Kenya presidential candidate Raila Odinga declared support for Anthony Olouch for the Mathare MP seat.
The musician Kevin Bahati Kioko (Jubilee) and actor Anthony Oluoch (ODM), who are both members of the Azimio coalition, are running for the seat. Raila has then endorsed ODM’s Anthony Oluoch promising Singer Bahati a job.
“Here in Mathare, as Baba I know I have two children in the same race. Do you want me to advice you as Baba? I have Oluoch and Bahati, this is what I decide, I will hold Bahati’s hand. Bahati is my child, I will give him a job in government,” said Mr Odinga.
The act came as a sign of endorsing ODM’s Anthony Oluoch as his preffered candidate for Mathare’s paliamentary seat.
Following the announcement, Bahati, who was standing on a car’s sunroof next Mr.Odinga sprang down and vanished into the mob.
His choice comes with Azimio’s attempts to break the Bahati-Oluoch dispute in a district that has been designated as an ODM zone.
