Between 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, and 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28th, 2022, residents in sections of Nairobi will be without water.

The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company said in a statement that supply will be cut off along Uhuru Highway due to the Express Way’s continuing construction.

The entire City Centre, areas along Mombasa Road, the University of Nairobi main campus, the Coca-Cola Factory, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, EPZ-Athi River, and the entire Industrial Area would be affected as a result of this.

Nairobi City Water Managing Director Engineer Nahason Muguna expressed regret for the inconvenience, saying that the General Service Unit and Administration Police training schools at Embakasi, Embakasi Village, Tassia 1 and Fedha Estate will also have dry taps.

Water will be cut off along Jogoo Road, including City Stadium, Maringo, Bahati, Buruburu, and the neighboring estates.

“As we try to restore the supply, we ask our consumers for forbearance and also urge them to use available water judiciously,” Muguna added.
